myportal.travel(™) is a Direct Commerce Marketplace for Travel and Leisure Services.
The myportal.travel website (Website) enables travelers to book hotel stays in any location anywhere in the world. The Website is operated by Cord Dot Travel, Inc. (CordDotTravel), a Delaware corporation having its offices in 382 NE 191st St Miami FL 33179 USA.
The terms “we”, “us”, “our”, CordDotTravel refer to Cord Dot Travel, Inc. and its corporate affiliates.
The term “you” refers to the customer visiting the Website and/or booking a hotel reservation through the Website or through our customer service agents.
Who can use this Website
If you are using this Website, you warrant that:
- you are at 18 years of age or above;
- you have the legal authority to get into a binding legal obligation;
- you will only use this Website to make legitimate reservations for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorized to act;
- all information supplied by you on this Website is true, accurate, current and complete; and
you will safeguard your account information .
- Do not use this Website and
- Do not book any reservations through this Website or through our customer service agents and
- Do not register as a Member.
Resolution of Disputes
If you have a problem or dispute, we will put our best efforts to resolve your concerns.
You agree to give us an opportunity to resolve the following ( “Claims”) by contacting Customer Support:
- Any disputes or claims relating in any way to the Website
- Any dealings with our customer service agents
- Any services or products provided and
If we do not to resolve your Claims within 60 days, you may seek relief through: (i) arbitration or (ii) in small claims court, as set forth below.
Any and all Claims will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court. Except you may assert Claims on an individual basis in small claims court if they qualify.
This includes any Claims you assert against:
- Us or our subsidiaries or holding companies,
- Travel suppliers or
- Any services or products provided and
- Any companies offering products or services through us.
The American Arbitration Association (AAA) conducts all Arbitrations under its rules. This includes the AAA Consumer Rules.
The AAA's rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879. Payment of all filing, administration, and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA's rules, except as below in bold.
If your total Claims seek less than $10,000, we will reimburse you for filing fees you pay to the AAA and will pay arbitrator’s fees, unless the arbitrator determines your Claims are frivolous.
You may choose to have an arbitration conducted:
- By telephone or
- Based on written submissions or
- In person in the state where you live or
- At another mutually agreed location.
To begin an arbitration proceeding, send a letter requesting arbitration and describing your Claims to:

If we request arbitration against you, we will give you notice at the email address or street address you have provided.

ii) online at www.adr.org or
iii) at any AAA office.
Any and all proceedings to resolve Claims will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action.
If for any reason a Claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration we each waive any right to a jury trial. The Federal Arbitration Act and Federal arbitration law apply to this agreement. An arbitration decision may be confirmed by any court with competent jurisdiction.

We, our travel suppliers and our providers own all the information, software, products and services on this Website as well as the infrastructure used to render that information.
- not to copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transfer, transmit, sell, re-sell, publish, create derivative works from or license any of the above available on this Website except making copies of documents related to your bookings made through this Website.
- not to use this Website or its contents for any commercial purpose;
- not to make any speculative, false, or fraudulent reservation or any reservation in anticipation of demand;
- not to access, monitor or copy any content or information of this Website using any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means or any manual process for any purpose without our express written permission;
- ) not to "frame", "mirror" or otherwise incorporate any part of this Website into any other website without our prior written authorization
- not to violate the restrictions in any robot exclusion headers on this Website or bypass or circumvent other measures employed to prevent or limit access to this Website;
- not to take any action that imposes, or may impose, in our discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
- not to deep link to any portion of this Website (including, without limitation, the purchase path for any travel services) for any purpose without our express written permission.
We reserve the right to cancel any reservations associated with your name, email address or account including your myportal.travel Membership account if your booking or account shows signs of fraud, abuse or suspicious activity.
if you have conducted any fraudulent activity, we also reserve the right to take any necessary legal action and you may be liable for monetary losses to CordDotTravel, including litigation costs and damages if you have conducted any fraudulent activity.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information against loss and theft, including encryption technology, restricted access, “firewalls,” and Secure Socket Layers (SSL). However, security over the internet cannot be guaranteed. CordDotTravel does not assume any responsibility for any harm, loss, or damage you may experience or incur by the sending of personal or confidential information over the internet, and you should take your own measures to protect your sensitive information. Authorization of Charges; Fees and Taxes
You authorize CordDotTravel to book reservations for the price charged by the respective hotel(s), plus any applicable fees and taxes.
Upon submitting your reservation request, you authorize us to process any and all reservations on your behalf, including making any necessary payment arrangements.
Where there are rates and fees that are specifically identified as nonrefundable that cannot be refunded; and there may be other fees imposed by hotels, and if the reservation is not canceled by the indicated time required, the entire amount, including the hotel fees and the hotel taxes may be forfeited and nonrefundable.
Quoted Pricing and Rates; Hotel Provider Terms
All prices quoted on the Website are prices directly quoted by the hotels and are subject to change and correction at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already accepted.
CORDDOTTRAVEL EXPRESSLY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CORRECT ANY PRICING ERRORS. IN SUCH EVENT, IF AVAILABLE, WE WILL OFFER YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO KEEP YOUR PENDING RESERVATION AT THE CORRECT PRICE OR WE WILL CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION WITHOUT PENALTY.
CordDotTravel only assists you in making reservations, it has no control or authority over the hotel providers’ rates, charges, or services, or over hotel providers’ maintenance, updates, renovations, quality, or deterioration of hotel rooms.
You may be required to provide an official state or authorized government issued ID upon check-in for any reservation made. In addition, you may be required to provide a credit or debit card upon request from the hotel for incidentals (such as room service, valet, additional hotel taxes, fees, internet, beverages, spa services, and other fees and incidentals). Your failure to produce such ID and/or a valid credit/debit card may result in forfeiture of the booking and without any right to refund.
Prices shown on the Website include applicable discounts and are based upon rates set by each hotel providing those services. Minimum stays may be required for certain offers. Additional restrictions and blackout dates may also apply for some offers. Offers are subject to availability and may be discontinued by the Provider Hotel without notice.
Fees and taxes for the room rate(s) will be listed, such as on the final pricing and on the confirmation email. However, the final rate quoted in the confirmation email does not include specific charges assessed by the hotel for miscellaneous expenses that you may incur, such as parking, room service, resort fees, city taxes, other taxes, internet use, or other miscellaneous charges. Posted rates are intended merely as guidelines and not as any form of guarantee of the final charges after your hotel stay.
Your hotel provider may have additional terms and conditions, including regarding payments, availability, health and safety (including regarding COVID testing or vaccine requirements, or pool, travel, or stay restrictions), cancellations, and liability waivers, which you must agree to abide by and should review carefully; failure to comply with or violation of any such terms and conditions may result in cancellation of your reservation or purchase and/or denial of access by the hotel provider. You may forfeit any monies paid to the hotel for such reservation(s) or purchase(s), including all fees.
Accuracy of Room Images Displayed with Price Quotes
When CordDotTravel receives room images from Providers, the images are not clearly classified as those of a specific room offering.
We use a combination of Computer Vision AI algorithms and human curation to classify each of those images to their corresponding room offerings.
You agree that you are fully aware of this while you book any room through us.
If you notice that any image that we display for a room offering is not correct, please let us know and we will be very happy to rectify that error.
CordDotTravel disclaims all liabilities for any inaccuracies on the Website with respect to room images displayed with a price offering.
CordDotTravel does not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaims all liability for, any errors or other inaccuracies on the Website, including for pricing, room images and other descriptions. The Provider Hotels with offers available through the Website are independent contractors and not agents, employees, or representatives of CordDotTravel; and CordDotTravel is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or violations of such third parties.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORDDOTTRAVEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF, OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH, THE SITE OR SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY OR PRIOR NOTICE. In no event will CordDotTravel be liable to you for an amount more than the greater of (i) 9 (nine) percent of the booking value of completed stays excluding taxes and fees made by you through the Website during the trailing twelve months or (i) $100 U.S. dollars. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND WAIVERS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Canceling and Changing Reservations
You agree that when you make a hotel reservation through our Website, any cancellation or change policy outlined to you, including in the confirmation email to you, is enforceable and binding. You can cancel your reservation either online at our Website or by emailing email@example.com. You may add additional services to an existing reservation provided the services desired are still available, and under the terms that are available at the time of the modification. You may be charged change and/or cancellation fees, depending on the nature of the request.
Each reservation is subject to the hotel provider’s change and cancellation policy. This may be different for each hotel provider.
In the case of hotels and room reservations, the typical hotel provider usually requires notice of cancellation at least 24 to 72 hours prior to your arrival date. You may cancel your hotel reservation(s), but you will be charged the change or cancellation fee(s) as stated on your confirmation email or as indicated in the policy for the hotel provider. If you do not change or cancel your reservation before the period applicable to the hotel you reserved, you will be subject to a charge as outlined in the hotel’s policy, which may be equal to applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees. Some hotels may charge for the entire stay even if you cancel your reservation.
There are no refunds for no-shows or early check-outs. If you intend to arrive at your hotel after the first night of your reservation, you MUST contact the hotel prior to the commencement of the applicable cancellation policy to prevent cancellation of your reservation and avoid applicable fees from the hotel provider. You agree to pay any change or cancellation fees that you incur. You also agree to abide by the terms imposed with respect to your prepaid travel reservations.
CordDotTravel is entitled to act on instructions received using your email address and itinerary number or credit card. No reservation made by us, of any type, may be assigned or transferred to any third party except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
We reserve the right to cancel any and all bookings or other transactions you have made using the Website after you have been prohibited from using the
Services. We may also interrupt your access to the Website, without liability to you or any other user, for the performance of maintenance on the Website, or to correct issues on the Website.
All bookings and their payments are made to the hotel provider. We do not collect any charges for bookings made through the Website or through our customer service agents.
We will make no refund in the event of, and have no responsibility for expenses caused by any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure, pandemic, government action, or other causes beyond our control. In the event that a hotel provider is unable to honor your reservation, we will not be liable for any cost or loss incurred due to rebooking.
International Transactions and Travel
Some banks and credit or debit card companies impose fees for international transactions.
Hotels located in different parts of the world have different official currencies. If you are making a booking in a hotel whose official currency is different from the currency of your credit or debit card, your bank may convert the payment amount to your local currency and charge you a conversion fee. This means that the amount listed on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency and therefore may be a different figure than the figure shown on the billing summary page for the reservation booked through the Website. In such cases, a foreign transaction fee may also be charged by the bank that issued your credit or debit card. Booking international travel may be considered to be an international transaction by the bank or card company. You will need to contact your bank if you have any questions about these fees or the exchange rate applied to your booking.
Currencies fluctuate in value. All payments and refunds are currently processed in the currency of the Travel Provider and will reflect the exchange rate in effect on the date of the payment or refund. Where any payments are made directly to CordDotTravel, those payments are processed in the United States in US Dollars. All refunds are subject to this variation, and CordDotTravel is not responsible for any difference in exchange rates between time of payment and the time of refund. Currency rates are based on various publicly available sources and should be used as guidelines only. Rates are not verified as accurate, and actual rates may vary. Currency quotes are not updated in real time. CordDotTravel and the providers do not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of currency conversion rates. When using this information for any financial purpose, we advise you to consult a qualified professional to verify the accuracy of the currency rates. We do not authorize the use of this information for any purpose other than your personal use, and you are prohibited from the use of this information for commercial purposes. Some jurisdictions may have different requirements, so these provisions may not apply to you.
If you are traveling internationally, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you meet foreign entry requirements and that your travel documents, such as passports and visas (transit, business, tourist, and otherwise), are in order and any other foreign entry requirements are met. We have no special knowledge regarding foreign entry requirements or travel documents. It is your responsibility to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by the relevant governments prior to booking travel to international destinations.
You must consult the relevant Embassy or Consulate for Passport and Visa requirements. Since requirements may change and you should check for up-to-date information before booking and departure.
CordDotTravel accepts no liability if you are refused entry onto a flight or into any country due to your failure to carry the correct and adequate passport, visa, or other travel documents required by any airline, authority, or country, including countries you may just be transiting through. This includes all stops made by the aircraft, even if you do not leave the aircraft or airport.
Health: Recommended inoculations for travel may change and you should consult your doctor for current recommendations before you depart. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet all health entry requirements, obtain the recommended inoculations, take all recommended medication, and follow all medical advice in relation to your trip.
Travel to certain destinations may involve greater risk than others. It is your responsibility to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by the United States and other governments prior to booking travel to international destinations.
